RE: [Sheflug] uname ?



but if i am correct will this cause the /lib/modules/kernel-version to have
this name as well... or am i barking up the wrong tree?

No problem at all.

I should probably add, in case anyone reading this gets confused, that
you also of course have to _boot_ from the recompiled kernel before the
EXTRAVERSION string comes out when uname is called :)
