Chris, I've done it by getting a boot iso image (it's not large) from the SuSE
site (e.g ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/9.1 or use a mirror site) You can also
get bootable floppy images from there. Boot up with either, after booting up
you will be presented with a few options, I use manual installation . note
you may have to load driver for your network card if you are not connected to
the internet directly. There's something on the lines of where source of
installation will be from, choose network/ftp. You'll need the ip address
(I've got a note from the past, may work, mirror site address
212.219.56.152. and the directory as sites/ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/9.1.
other ip address's 195.155.221.130
212.219.56.146
I may have missed something in the above but it's on those lines, I think
you should be able to work it out from the above, plus I'm sure there is a
howto via ftp install readme file in the above directory.
