I can also report (having done it for over a year now) that the
FreeS/Wan with IPCop works a treat into a Cisco 3015 concentrator for
LAN to LAN. The only potential problem with FreeS/WAN is I believe
(BICBR) that support has been discontinued?

My home is attached over a 512k ADSL to work with 3DES encryption. I run
SMB, telnet, loads of other stuff and plus my Philips IP phone so I have
an extension on the company PBX.

How about getting a couple of scrap PCs and doing IPCop -> IPCop?
