Are most of the benefits from using Gentoo derived from the fact that its
built / compiled specifically for the PC its installing on? If so I don't
think there will be time in one meeting to get it installed.
Richard
If I decide to put Gentoo on instead of Debian are you still happy to have a
go at putting a mail server, spam filter, virus filter on it?
If so Brett: How many and which CDs do I need to download:
I'm assuming I need the live CD:
install-x86-universal-2004.3-r1.iso
and the packages CD:
packages-x86-2004.3-r1.iso
Does this have enough on it to build a mail server with spam assassin etc on
it?
2 disks seems a much better download proposition than 14!
Anybody else got any suggestions?
