At 8.44am yesterday morning, a BBC spokesman said 'Or you 
could always use another browser.  (Internet Explorer) is 
susceptible to these kind of attacks. ' during a report on
that premium rate dialling trojan out there now.

Later on the same day there was a report in the FT that MS
had lost it's deal with Beijing's municipal government.
China will be looking to protect and foster it's own 
software industry.

I know neither of these are directly Linux related.  Opera 
and Firefox work on Win 32 platforms.  But both items were 
pleasing to hear.
