[Sheflug] Sheffield Open Source Seminar 2nd March 2005
Hi
This is to add on to Bob Holland's previous announcement
On the 2nd of March our annual open source seminar will take place
once again. This started out back in 1999 as our Linux Demo days at
what used to be Blackwell's West Street branch and eventually
graduated towards a one day seminar at Sheffield Wednesday's football
ground. The event has proven to be a big success and this year we
have made room for 200 people due to the fact that we have had
problems getting in through the door in previous years. For more
information about the event and to view the schedule and also for
online booking please have a look at this page........

The event is free and since there is no such thing as a free lunch a
free lunch will be provided. It's well worth going along to this due
to the mix of people who will be around. You can get anything from
advice on how to fix your home PC - if you bring it along - to things
like building a working database for a full size multinational
corporation or making your companies SOHO or larger network more
secure with Soekris hardware and OpenBSD. You can even find out how
to build your own Grid Computing empire from a well known and
recognised expert.
Please circulate information about this event if you have the time to
do so :)
Regards
--
Richard
