Hello Janet,

Can't recommend an internal modem that will work, simply as I don't know
of one. Why not go on using the external modem that you already have?

An excellent adsl modem for broadband internet access is the Netgear
DG834. You can plug in up to 4 PCs with ordinary network cable (called
Cat5e cable) and all you need in your PC is a network card, any of which
will work with Linux. The best thing is that it will just work - your PC
will be set to automatically pick up an address from the DG834 and the
DG834 will hand one out. Easy.

Seb.
