[Sheflug] WYLUG Next Meeting - Monday 9th May 2005 (fwd)
Rob Speed had to cancel his talk because he'd burnt out his wireless card
- over ambitious with his power settings :-( Rob has managed to replace
his hardware, and is giving his talk on building and running a Linux
wireless router at this meeting.

Felix Ulrich-Oltean
An introduction/overview of Zope (http://www.zope.org) and Plone
(http://plone.org). Zope is an open source object-oriented web
application server built with/on python. Plone is a content
management and web portal system built on top of Zope. It is easily
customiseable at various levels. Plone is now serving a lot of
high-profile sites and is gaining much ground especially in academia
across the world but also commercially. The Plone team have a lot of
expertise in usability, internationalisation, accessibility, and
Plone the software reflects this.
Felix has worked with Zope and Plone for several years, most
recently at http://www.chaptereight.com.
