<Alec> OK but what could be causing it?
Well, knowing SuSE software as well as I do I know that there has
been a similar DHCP bug in previous releases. Also, you might not
have set up your 1st and 2nd DNS in YaST2 properly. Have another
look at it. Select the option that sets up your DNS hosts for the
internet via DHCP so that you it finds BT's servers.
After you have done that open up your /etc/resolv.conf file with a
text editor such as Joe in a root window and edit the file manually
if it is not properly configured. You can get the 1st and 2nd DNS
for BT from their tech support pages. All ISPs provide that
information. Send in the final resolv.conf if you are not sure that
you have the right one after editing it.
Regards
Richard
