Hi -
I've been lurking on the list for a while, and noticed the VMWare LUG discount
link.
The VMWare demo installed easily and ran (almost) faultlessly on Gentoo, SuSE,
and an FC3-based LTSP, and it can access dongles through the parallel port,
which I never managed with wine. This would let me run a 100% Linux setup,
with only virtual Windoze machines for the specialist software.
If I've got it right, to qualify for the $100 discount I'm after, VMWare want
the LUG itself to download a totally free copy to use and demonstrate.
Has anyone running this group done this; if not, would they be willing to?
Graham
