[Sheflug] Poss. off topic - please forgive

Not strictly speaking Linux related but I've just done an apt-get 
dist-install of Debian Woody to fix some other problems and now I'm 
getting an error in my Horde/Imp installation - cannot redeclare gc().

I've Googled and this seems to be a surprisingly common problem which 
has been introduced into phplib, I believe. There are plenty of 
Google hits on the subject but I've not found one yet which gives the 
solution. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
