Mine's definitely just a toy at the moment - I can't connect to the internet
directly, an external HD drive or a USB GPS dongle, it doesn't mount its CF
card properly, can network with Bluetooth, but not mount using NFS... and it
crashes a lot.

Qtopia looks interesting; once I get a stable base OS running I might give it
a try. Have you installed the full DEB (from rpm) package on the iPAQ, or is
there an ipkg of the PDA version?

Not sure if Familiar is ready for the 4700 yet - I'll maybe try reflashing
with Opie, or just put win back on until a suitable stable Familiar version
comes out - at least with win I could use Putty and VNC to connect to the
work servers, collect email and browse... but using wince annoys me - just on
principle :)
