There is a call for papers for Apachecon Europe 2006. This takes place 
in Dublin which means that you can get there from Manchester airport 
at low cost.

Anyone registering for Apachecon Europe will have their conference 
fees waived.  This is well worth considering due to the kind of 
people who go to this event.  You can very quickly get in touch with 
someone else who is interested in your own ideas.  Or, you will 
quickly find someone who will suggest new ideas to you.
