There is allways the 'wimps' option. I have my Hard Drives in swapable  
caddies. One drive has the distribution on that I actualy use to work  
with, Suse 10 for the moment, and the other I use for trying other  
distros. When it comes to upgrading to Suse 10.1 I will clean install on  
the spare disc and that then becomes my 'working disc', when it is up and  
running as I want it, and I play on the other disc when I don't need suse  
10 any more... I will try the next Unbuntu (6.4)or what ever.

Not very techy but easy and safe as far as my important 'work'  
installation is concerned...
