I've had a lot of joy from OpenWRT on my Linksys wrt54g, even terminating
VPNs on it directly with OpenVPN. It is also a lot more stable
(completely, seemingly uncrashable) by comparison with when it was running
the Linksys firmware, which would leave it in temporary brick mode every so
often.
