[sheflug] Recommendations for USB multi-card reader/writer?

I've been looking at some of the USB devices that have slots for reading
and writing all sorts of media cards (the kind used in cameras, for
example), and the prices seem quite cheap these days, for example (these
are just the first three I saw on amazon.co.uk):

£7  ByteStor 17-in-1 Multi-Card Reader/Writer
£22 SanDisk ImageMate 12-in-1
£13 Belkin Hi-Speed 15-in-1

Are all of these devices now easy to use with GNU/Linux?  Are there
noticeable differences of quality and performance between brands?  Any
other recommendations?
