In my (so far quite brief) testing, I noticed that mutt doesn't see
KMail's subfolders because their directory names start with ".".  I'm
reluctant to change Mutt's "File mask: !^\.[^.]" in case it screws up
KMail's index files (which also start with ".").

Does the maildir standard specify how subfolders are supposed to be
represented in the filesystem?
