I can tell you what to avoid:

      * books which think HTML tags should be CAPITALISED. e.g.,
        <HEAD><TITLE>My first javascript</TITLE></HEAD>;
      * anything with screenshots of Navigator 4 in it;
      * anything on its fourth (or more) edition;

If you can, avoid anything which generates content on a webpage using
document.write().

I suspect even those three requirements and a recommendation will filter
out 95% of books :-/
