Are you looking at linking data in a series of spreadsheets to a master  
document? If so there is a howto on the OO website which should walk you  
through it. Once you have set it up you should be able to write a macro to  
automate the process. As long as you have OO java enabled.

If this its a reasonably complex thing you want to do post it on the OO  
forum. There are guys on that forum who live for a complex task to prove  
how good OO is. Anything Office can do, we can do better...
