Yes. Lets hope it's a good one. It'll soon be time for the annual
Burns night supper[1] in the Hillborough Hotel.

Oh... gawd I was hoping someone wasn't going to mention this over the
Christmas period :)

ATI would seem to be good but I've not used it for some years now.

Yes. This is true. I've got an old Nvidia Riva TNT2 card working on
my Kubuntu 6.10 desktop but it was like arguing with something from
hell to get it going due to the fact that even an extensive Google
search didn't reveal too much. I eventually got it going with Debian
legacy drivers. Even that was tough.

Oh... I dunno. Tried a sizable hammer over the head ? It wasn't
always like this. When I used SuSE 8.xx to 9.xx everything worked
just fine.

Hopefully :)

Thank goodness for Google. Something which didn't exist before
ShefLUG or GNU/Linux came along.

"Address to a Haggis....

Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftan o' the puddin-race!
Aboon then a' ye tak your place,
		Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye wordy of a grace
		As lang's my arm.

The groaning trencher there ye fill,
Your hurdies like a distant hill,
Your pin wad help to mend a mill
		In time o' need,
While thro' your pores the dews distil
		Like amber bead."

Right.... where's that bottle of scotch gone to .....
