I did see this happening in OpenSuSE 10.1. Along with long
complaining e-mails on the SuSE security list and other SuSE lists
along with comments about moving over to Debian Sarge or Fedora to
get rid of the problems caused by SuSE/Novell. But, my own SuSE 10.2
installation is working fine.
However, as a precaution I switched to smart and apt4rpm for updates
and software installation. Life has become so much easier to live
since I did that. Only takes about two minutes of my life instead of
30 minutes or more.
