Well, it's very rare for a keyboard to give problems.  I swapped in my
new Cherry keyboard t'other day without so much as a log out let alone a
reboot.

You first need to check whether your graphics card is supported or not.
 If you publish the graphics card you have on the list then we can look
up the supported hardware for you.  Alternatively, if you have web
access and at least lynx, try looking at

If it is supported then I think SaX2 helps configure the X11 interface
though I've never had to run either YaST or SaX2 from the command line.
'man SaX2' might be your friend here.
