I would like to help with this effort but had the same thoughts that I do not 
own a suitable GPS device, nor do I currently have the spare cash to buy one 
and I am not sure there is much I could do to help right now. It certainly 
interests me though an I would like to be able to help.

I will try to come along anyway - I will add myself once I have gotten over 
jetlag and confirmed I am free.
