[Sheflug] Plone Skinning and Accessibility Event - 21 March
Bob's been having some problems sending this in and so I've forwarded
it for him.....
Dear Colleagues,
Following the 'Content Management with Zope and Plone' event last
year, a number of people expressed interest in a follow-up
covering 'skinning' and web accessibility in more detail. Since then
a number of local organisations have started using Plone and have
indicated they too would be interested in such an event.
I'm therefore pleased to announce that Matt Lee will return to
Sheffield on Wednesday 21 March to talk about these aspects.
>From Matt's website...
"Matt Lee is a writer, hacker, comedian and free software advocate. By
day he codes beautiful accessible web applications and by night he
mulls over his next big idea. He hacks on Plone, runs the website for
the GNU Project (one of the most visited non commercial websites on
the web) and explains how to make your next web project beautiful and
functional."
You may recall last time that Matt spoke about his work deploying
Plone within the NHS and content development both for and with
visually impaired people.
The event will be held at Sheffield Hallam University, Stoddart
Building room 7331 from 7:00pm through 9:00pm.
The event is free to attend, but places are restricted so please
register your intention to attend by replying to me directly at
bobholland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Please forward this email to colleagues
you might think would be interested in attending.
Thanks and regards,
Bob Holland
