Oh... some good news at last :)
The way I've been working it is to get some help from the South
Yorkshire branch of the IET for two or three meetings and then the
rest of the time over at Starbucks. http://www.theiet.org/
I suppose we might get away with three or four meetings at the
University and then we could get the IET to pay for some others.
That accounts for about six months of activity. So, the rest of the
time could be Starbucks. Not too bad as a format goes.
Dates and times ? Well, I'll get to work and do what I do to find
people for talks. Demo session ? I've done quite a few of these...

Uhhmm ... generally I find that some time after February is good for
talks and demos. Remembering that the exam resits are in February I
think ? We've also got some head bangingly good meetings coming up
which are organised in conjunction with the IET. So, March onwards
is good for most people. Anytime after the 1st of December is bad
due to Christmas and the New Year.
I suppose we might be able to discuss this more at the December
meeting ? Good place for Bob Holland to go to and chat to the rest
of us.
