Meanwhile you might want to have a look at these which are selling like hot 
cakes.  Pre-installed with Xandros (dross?) but you can put what you like 
into them.  No moving parts.  Hard drive is solid state.....

about £200 or £300 each.  Already reached cult hardware status before 
Christmas.  The 8Gb version is best but I think these have only just begun to 
reach these shores.  You can get them from Dabs.com or a similar place.  
Google might be your friend if you want to get hold of one.
