[Sheflug] Fetchmail goes Walkabout

Hi

Does anyone know what this might be about ?  Tried the Google search 
and nothing useful came back.

Ubuntu 8.04.  Fetchmail 6.3.8.  Worked fine for months on end 
downloading mail for Kmail to read.  If I do 'fetchmail -v' then 
everything works fine.  If I do something like 'fetchmail -d650' 
or 'fetchmail -d0' I get the following error message....

" gethostbyname failed for sheflug
Name or service not knownCannot find my own host in hosts database to 
qualify it!  Trying to continue with unqualified hostname.
DO NOT report broken Received: headers, HELO/EHLO lines or similar 
problems!  DO repair your /etc/hosts, DNS, NIS or LDAP instead.  "

Which means that no mail is downloaded.  I've tried to flush DNS 
with '/etc/init.d/nscd restart '  but that doesn't make any 
difference.
