If Chris Warburton wants to run a kind of an FSF section with some other people then please do. I can create some sort of local FSF section which can then be managed by someone else :)

Considering that SMF is freeware last time I checked, and its developers have stated they have no intention of making it free software, I cannot help but think that many free software advocates might not want to use it out when given a choice.

The local free software orientated groups are distinct entities and not directly affiliated with the FSFE or the FSF, as far as I know.
