Yes, I've got the same problem now :)

Tried both of these with no result.  No sound with Totem or Xine or 
Gxine ar the others.  No sound from the BBC iPlayer.  No sound from 
MP3's.

Uhhmmm... how technical do you want to be ?  Any suggestions on how to 
fix this ?
