my twopennorth: I believe the open source community has much in common
with the Roman Catholic church (including the Inquisition) in the way
we interminably dissect and squabble over trivialities between
licenses, distros etc. What we should stress, in my opinion, is the
inherent value, security and reliability of Linux et al. With
Microsoft recently advising people to use another browser until a
security patch for IE was available, now is a good time to shout the
sense of opting for open source. I look forward to viewing the
contenders for an advertisement.
