[Sheflug] Local IT contacts (a bit off topic)

Just wanted to ask a quick question (and I know this is a bit
off-topic), but does anyone on this list work for, or have contact
with, any organisation that might want to build some links with the IT
department at the college I work at?

We are looking for ways to introduce students to how IT is used in the
real world (rather than just what we tell them); this could be guest
speakers, visits to work places or just information about IT systems
in place locally that could be used as examples in lessons.

Please let me know if anyone can help.
