Hmm... application built with Google WTK. HTML 5.0. I'm looking
forward to using HTML 5.0 just haven't got round to using it yet.
This is due to the fact that most people who write web pages are a bit
sceptical about the idea of "web standards". But, as we know,
Internet Exploder 8 is supposed to be more web standards compatible
than other versions produced by Microsoft.

I don't personally see it replacing e-mail but it might lead to some
other more highly developed application. e-mail and Mailman and or
Listserv can still do a lot of things that people want. I should
point out that since I am a photographer I understand the impact of
nice pictures and coloured web pages on the average individual. Sells
those McDog burgers and Kentucky fried crocodile to people who have
never read anything about biochemistry or medicine or anything about
Michelin stars.

If it is made available for this LUGs use some time next year and it
looks like it might replace our present Phorum I might well install it
for general use. Don't see anything happening soon.

Be interesting to see which way this goes :)
