[Sheflug] php email problem
Dear All
I've got a server (RHEL4) hosting several domains as virtual hosts on
apache. One of the applications (moodle which runs on a LAMP stack)
tried to send an email but got the wrong domain. Instead of sending to
joe.blogss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
it sent it to
joe.bloggs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
As far as I can tell it was asked to send registration details to an
email address where the domain wasn't provided (ie joe.bloggs instead
of joe.bloggs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) so the server provided
@another.domain.com. (which is what the output of hostname is). Does
anyone know how I can set a default domain on a per domain basis so
that if a domain needs to be added something appropriate is done. I'm
not sure where I need to look - apache, php or the MTA
Thanks
David
