[Sheflug] Another Linux-Compatible Mobile OS Is in the Oven
Hi
Might interest the mobile Linux fans out there....

" Does the world need another mobile operating system? The answer is
an unequivocal "Yes" for six heavyweight Japanese firms. "Japan
typically uses and develops its own standards and technology, and the
large majority of handsets in Japan are manufactured from Japanese
manufacturers," said In-Stat Principal Allen Nogee. "It's the way it
always has been."
For my part it's interesting that so many Japanese companies have
recognised that mobile Linux is an asset and not something to be
shoved away in the cupboard.
