Hi there,

On the previous couple of occasions we've had a job vacancy, the
successful applicant has come via this ShefLUG mailing list. So please
forgive the intrusion if you're not in the job market at the moment.

We're looking for someone with some or all of
* PHP, Linux, PostgreSQL (or MySQL), XHTML, CSS, Javascript, YUI skills
* A good degree
* Relevant work experience.

Zedcore Systems Ltd is a web applications development company based in
Crookes, Sheffield S10. We do the technical things that make web systems
work and stay working.

Our main activity is the development and ongoing evolution of
database-driven web applications. These include:

* Recruitment workflow systems for NHS Trusts that manage a job
application from advert right through to appointment.

* Hotel booking system for around 1,500 hotels

* Web, intranet and document management systems for a trade union. The
sites connect in to their in-house membership databases.

* Web and intranet sites for Chesterfield Royal Hospital with distributed
content management.

* Staff surveys for the Department of Work and Pensions.

* Various content management and sales-oriented sites for organisations
from charities up to multi-million pound turnover companies.

* GraduatesYorkshire.

Sites are developed in PHP using our own coding framework.

We also provide high-availability Linux-based hosting and systems
administration services.

Please forgive the state of our own website - we get business from
word-of-mouth so it's not a sales tool for us and has been overlooked
while we're busy working on customer sites.
