Re: [Sheflug] Google's Privacy Policy

Hi

http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2012-03/01/why-opt-out-of-google-
privacy-policy

" This morning on BBC News, the talking heads from the street all
confused Google's latest privacy changes with spammy email marketing.
Then the presenters showed typical tech-savvy panache by reacting in
shock when they discovered algorithms read your Gmail and present ads
at the side. We're entering this strange phase of privacy where
people truly can't fathom what is being done with their "personal
data". When they hear changes are coming, they for some reason equate
that it means Google will be rifling through their old love letters and
home videos and selling them to the highest bidder. For all the
articles out there that detail how to circumvent Google's new privacy
policy, there's a real lack of anything that truly explains why. "
