I used to work for Google myself.  I can't argue with his comments.



It seems that all these big technology companies go through phases like this, where it starts off with a lot of innovation and enlightened ideas, but ends up with accountants, lawyers and marketing people destroying anything of real worth - a sort of informational "heat death". I remember a time in the distant past when Microsoft was regarded as a desirable company for engineers to work at, and long before that the same probably applied to IBM.
