I saw a comment somewhere else recently (can't remember where) like
"Where is the option for fix known bugs and stop screwing around with
the GUI?" --- I guess "Better coordination with Debian and upstreams" is
probably the closest thing on the list at that link.

I'm afraid Shuttleworth's idea of "Make the desktop more amazing" really
means "make the desktop even less user-configurable".
