VLC seems to do it for me. Then there's mplayer or.. gnash or gnash-plugin which 
should work with any browser on the GNU/Linux desktop.  Such as Chrome or Firefox 
or any of the others.

apt-cache search vlc
yum search vlc

Or.. whatever...
