Looks like Fosdem 2016 is about to get underway. I was one of the 
original organisers of OSDEM when I wrote to RMS to ask him to help to 
put OSDEM together back in the mid 90's. A few hundred people turned 
up for the first one.

Fosdem is much bigger now. Well worth a look around the web site. In 
about a week or two's time you can download video of the lectures. 
Fosdem talks are usually different from anything else that you might 
see out there.
