[Sheflug] ManLUG April Meeting
Hi
Don't know if anyone has any interest in this. There are times when I
mention other LUGs to people. I was one of the people who helped to
start ManLUG back in the 1990's. I go back the from time to time for
meetings. In April I'll be giving a talk about CubeSats. The meeting
announcement says...
â Richard Ibbotson will talk about the COSMOS Project. This is an
international open source GNU/Linux based project which runs on
Raspberry Pi hardware. During a 2015 summer workshop for CubeSat
Design, Engineering, and Operations at Capitol Technology University
at Laurel in Maryland a requirement arose for a lightweight command
and control system for the CubeSats. This would implement all of the
usual control centre functions such as telemetry ingest, commanding,
archiving, telemetry format conversion, trending, and alerts. Richard
will give an introduction to this project and show some screen shots.
