For me it's a great shame because I'm one of the people who helped to
start it. I was one of the original writers for the magazine. The
Linux Beer Hike and the London Apache conference of 2000 were some of my
earliest published work. Complete with my own photographs. For which I
went through five years of training in heavy engineering to be an
advertising photographer as well as a lot of NUJ training.

Call me stupid of you like but I thought that Futurenet had bought out
LUD magazine in order to put the axe through it. They were always known
for being axe-centric and aggressive. I've written for them quite a few
times. That's how I found out.

Anyway. Farewell LUD. We all had a good read. For a while.
