Yes. Microsoft can spend many hours on it but they never ever deliver. Just a lot of talk and no result. Such as Winduhs ME and Workgroups 3.11. Xtra Pants was an aberration from their usual efforts. Winduhs 10 and 11 is so much like Winduhs ME.
What I would like is a cheap Linux tablet so I can drop Android, which in turn would mean I could drop DOS to run some emulators. I can buy Android tablets from about £100-£200 but cannot seem to find cheap Linux ones. Any suggestions?
I've spent some years looking for a good GNU/Linux tablet. Found a few but nothing good. Always very expensive as well. The GNU/Linux tablet market is slowly improving as the Linux mobile phone market takes off but might be a year or two before we get something good.
