Is Bob referring to the pre-compilied binaries? The linux12 binary I would
suggest is for linux 1.2.x, so SuSE will want one of the linux20 packages
(SuSE 6.1 is 2.2.5-ish I believe?). Either of the linux20 packages should
work _theoretically_, but libc5 glibc are not good bedfellows -
probably the best one to go for is the standard linux20 version (not
libc5), since you should be running glibc with a 2.2.x kernel. (Note this
is all off the top of my head, I could be completely wrong ;)
I would be interested to know how you get on with NS4.6. I use NS4.5 on a
regular basis, and it crashes constantly. core dumps all over the place.
Mozilla M6 (the latest version of the 'free' netscape) is supposed to be
reasonably stable also - I keep meaning to have a look at it.
