Free ISPs and Kppp

Lot of us have noticed that since the free ISPs came along there's a
lot more data flowing around inside the UK system. I couldn't
connect to FreeUK with a V90 modem without a lot of hard slog. Now
I'm on ISDN2e things are much better. Maintaining the Sheflug site
is now a 10 second point and click affair compared with the head
banging task it used to be.

I've also noticed that if I use Kppp in the KDE instead of MS
Windows the PAP connection is much smoother :-) I spose I'm alone in
this ? Probably ?
