e-mail apps

Hi

I've found a web site at http://www.cpan.org which has perl modules
that can be used to create e-mail apps. Looks really good. All I
have to do now is work out how to create a GUI to work with them. The
O'Reilly Perl Pocketbook could be good about now.

Having spent a few months looking at X-windows and associated
programming tools in Linux it seems to me that Tcl/Tk and Gtk could
be the way forward for a solution to the GUI problem. There are many
point and click programming tools that come with SuSE 6.0/6.1 Linux.

I'll have a look into it :-)
