I can't: although I'm not multilingual (only English and Japanese,
with the occasional Spanish expletive remembered from highschool), the
lists I hang out on are.
Pine does not now and probably will not in the near future support
multilingual usage properly (the gospel according to Mark [Crispin]).
(Probably will not == my assessment that Unicode is not going to be
the dominant encoding on the net for say 5 years. Pine can do ASCII
or Unicode without too much fuss, and maybe ISO-8859-whutevva or
Unicode. But Japanese, Chinese, and Russian simultaneously with
English? Nope---unless they're all encoded in Unicode variant.)
I guess Pine supports pipe-message-to-patch-prompting-for-directory,
but in two keystrokes, and with completion and history on the file
path? ;-) I can't live without that. Can you? ;-) See .sig.
