Yes, but I sometimes have had systems with ppp working fine,
but kppp hanging. (And one system with kppp working fine and
ppp hanging.) I've been told that there are options in these
files that you can adjust to fix these, but you really need
a ppp specialist to help you if you really get fouled up!
