Is this just a Star Office problem (i.e., do Netscape html pages print
badly also?)? By 'steps', I presume you mean what I refer to as the
jaggies - blocky fonts. It could be several things - but most probably the
output resolution might not be high enough. Does it affect everything,
including pictures? If it's just the fonts, it could be a badly setup font
server or something - depends what distribution you're running (I presume
RH5.2?) RedHat have a nice searchable support page - the answers could be
held within!
