If you don't want to buy books, (though Running Linux is excellent not too
overpriced), there are plenty of free ones on the Net
(http://doc.rmplc.co.uk/linux/LDP/). The Linux User's Guide, by Larry
Greenfield is available in .pdf format at about 2mb.
